SPIRULINA TASTE MASKING GRANULES

Spirulina is a certain type of blue-green algae that naturally occurs in fresh and salt waters. Spirulina stands out as a sustainable bioactive microalgae with health-promoting properties, important active ingredient of natural cosmetics products. Currently, Spirulina has been incorporated in topical skin-care formulations. Between the microalgae, Spirulina (Arthrospira) is one of the most promising species, due to its precious content of phytochemicals and its greener and more sustainable production chain. Spirulina is a unicellular cyanobacteria-type microalga, which grows at pH 10-12. The genus Arthrospira includes a great variety of species. Spirulina is considered a superfood - an all-in-one source of nutrients including protein levels comparable to eggs. To minimize spirulina's taste, you can add it to juices and smoothies made of sweet fruits such as mango, banana, and pineapple. You can also mix it into green smoothies to boost the drink's nutrient content and give it a vibrant green colour.
